Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS) offers a Pharmacy Practice residency. The residency is a flexible program designed to provide the resident with a unique experience in both clinical and administrative practice.

The residency offers a flexible program designed to provide the resident with a unique experience in clinical, automated and administrative practices. Written and oral communication skills are emphasized throughout the program. The resident will gain experience teaching through inservice presentations and serving as preceptor for pharmacy students on clinical rotations.Clinical rotations include:

• Cardiology (general and intensive care)
• Adult medicine (general and intensive care)
• Pediatrics/neonatology (general and intensive care)
• Infectious disease
• Oncology
• Managed care
• Anticoagulation
• Teaching and precepting
• Ambulatory care
  Practice management
• Skilled nursing
• Emergency medicine

Eligibility for New Mexico licensure, letter of intent, college transcripts, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and on-site interview with presentation.
