Presbyterian has been committed to healthcare delivery in New Mexico since 1908 when Reverend Hugh Cooper founded the organization as a charitable tuberculosis sanatorium. Since that time, Presbyterian has experienced dramatic changes in the healthcare industry, but remains as a community-owned not-for-profit organization committed to improving the health of individuals, families, and communities via nationally excellent processes and practices.
